The Common Data Model ships with a set of standard entities across common industry data types, including sales, purchasing, customer service and office productivity, plus allow developers to build custom entities. It’s a secure, separate database that contains a standard, structured view of common business data elements.
Using Microsoft Flow, you can connect data from a Dynamics 365 application and another services you already use, like Trello, your ERP system, your Office 365, SharePoint, Salesforce, etc. With the combination of PowerApps you can now easily create a simple website or custom application. It is a separate database designed to be a common schema connection between other databases and apps and use PowerBI to analyze this common data.

Pedro Azevedo is a Microsoft MVP Business Solutions specifically in Microsoft Dynamics CRM area. With over 12 years of experience in Microsoft technologies, he is now a technical architect at Right IT Services, a Microsoft Partner company focused on providing CRM solutions, and also proficient in SharePoint and in building custom applications.
He started in 2012 to contribute more actively in the community, participating at Microsoft forums, twitter (@azevedo_pedro), writing a blog ( on Dynamics CRM and delivering presentations in communities, such as NetPonto, Portugal a Programar, ENEI, ACM Student Chapter, MVP Showcase 2015 and Office365 PT.

Na segunda apresentação o Niko Neugebauer vai falar sobre as novidades de Columnstore Indexes no SQL Server 2017.
Niko Neugebauer works at OH22 as a BI Consultant. A SQL Server MVP with over 20 years of experience in IT, he is passionate about the Microsoft Data Platform and community. Founder of the Portuguese SQL Server User Group and the main organizer of the first SQLSaturday event outside of North America (#78 Portugal), Niko speaks regularly at events such as PASS Summit, SQLRally, SQLBits, and SQLSaturday events around the world. Niko loves sharing information and knowledge and has authored over 100 blog posts on Columnstore Indexes, and regularly contributes to the open-sourced CISL library focused on Columnstore Indexes.
